Background

Xuber is one of the UK’s leading insurance software and services providers.  They have designed, implemented and supported mission critical solutions for brokers, carriers and health organisations globally.  Having recently acquired two other companies in their market, the leadership team asked Extra Dimension to help them when bringing the companies together in ensuring everyone felt valued in their new environment.

 

Objectives

Extra Dimension was commissioned to initially conduct a Team Motivation Review followed by carrying out ongoing training and development in order to ensure that the results of the review were implemented effectively. The main objectives were:

  • Increase employee engagement and performance
  • Improve the leadership capability of the Executive Board and Senior Management Team
  • Improve career development activities
  • Improve the consistency of communication, team work and culture of the business
  • Retain the best people within the organisation

 

Results

  • The review identified the need to maintain and communicate a clear vision and strategy, so that the team understands what success looks like and can celebrate reaching it
  • The action plans have enabled each leader to be more effective at pro-actively developing and retaining top talent within the organisation
  • Teams are working better together, with the increased understanding of what makes each other ‘tick’ enabling them to build on each other’s strengths
  • The ongoing support implementing the results of the Motivation Review has made a real difference throughout the organisation
